Kicking off the 2020 Virtual Festival is the ever popular dog show. Starting at 2pm Saturday 11th July and running for 90 minutes.There will be 6 categories in total. In each 30 minute period there will be 2 categories which can be entered. Tonight would have been the last festival committee meeting before the 2020 Festival, know as T.S.H.T.F. meeting (leave you to work that out!). We are obviously disappointed to be missing our 40th year so over the next few weeks we will be bring you a number of online events starting with a Virtual Pet Show on Saturday over Zoom where it is safe to mix cats and dogs. Sadly we have to announce that Kirkstall Festival has been CANCELLED this year. It was not an easy decision to cancel this year’s event especially as it was going to be a celebration of 40 years of festivals. We’re already turned attention to next year and Saturday 10th July 2021. Kirkstall is an amazing community, and the Festival is our way of bringing you all together in the grounds of Kirkstall Abbey. In 1981 the first Kirkstall Festival took place in the grounds of Kirkstall Abbey. 40 years on some of the original volunteers are still involved, so this year we will be celebrating the 40 years. Over the coming weeks this years line up will be announce here, we got some exciting things in the pipeline.
