Kirkstall mini-Festival 2021

CategoriesFestival 2021News

Having not been able to hold what would have been our 40th annual festival last year due to the Covid Pandemic we have decided to have this year a Mini Kirkstall Festival, as usual for the benefit of children and families. We have to strictly adhere to Covid restrictions and guidelines hence this year will be on a far smaller scale. We will have approx. 30 stalls, live music, some food, tea, coffee, soft drinks and children’s games. Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions NO ALCOHOL WILL BE ON SALE AND NO ALCOHOL WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE EVENT.

Our event this year will be over two days, Saturday 10th July and Sunday 11th July. IT WILL BE AN ENTRY BY TICKET ONLY EVENT within the railings of the Abbey Church and ruins and will comprise of two four hour sessions each day. Saturday 10th July the 1st session will be from 10am – 2pm. The second session will be from 3pm – 7pm. The same times will apply on Sunday 11th July. we are restricted to the sale of 500 TICKETS FOR EACH SESSION. Tickets will cost £2.00 for an adult plus a 30p booking fee and children under eleven years of age will be free. Details of how to book tickets will made known within the next week or so.

All necessary Covid procedures for our event will be in place as required throughout the duration of the event.

We apologise for this very low scale event but due to the Covid Pandemic we have had no alternative but feel many families would at least enjoy a few hours in the fresh air at some form of community event, and all we can do is to look forward to a full festival next year.
