Bramley Sapphires We are a non-profit majorette team that has been running for 25 years. We currently have 8 amazing little girls that dance for us and we are looking to build upon those numbers in order to compete in competitions all over England, doing Military freestyle, as well as introducing Pom, Solos and Duets for 2024!! The Festival parade will be leaving Hesketh Road at 11 noon (NOTEthis is an hour later than last year) to arrive at the Abbey aroundby 11:45 noon via the following 1.2 mile route (1.4 miles for thosestarting from the back). Please take time to watch the parade supported by local schoolsand groups. To take part please be at Hesketh Road by 10:45 amPROMPT !! Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
We are now full – Applications are closed The aim is for the festival to not make a profit, but to cover the cost of running the event, should there be any surplus it is ploughed in to the next festival. No member of the organising committee receive any payment for the work they do, their reward is being part of a successful festival. PLEASE NOTE catering enquiries should be made directly to catering@kirkstall.org.uk for further information about catering opportunities and Catering booking – do not use the stalls booking for catering enquiries.
Cash Points Most stalls will be cash only. There is no cash point on-site, the nearest ATM is at Morrisons Supermarket on Savins Mill Way. First Aid The First Aid tent is close to the pelican crossing entrance, any official with a radio can call a first-aider. Information Point The Information Point is located behind the Visitor Centre. Refreshments A wide range of refreshments and food will be available for purchase on site, including a bar, tea tent, a selection of street food vendors. Toilets Toilets are located around the site, specifically near the Fairground, behind the Beer Tent and near the entrance to the Bowling Green….
By Bus Please also note that this year Vesper Lane will be closed to through traffic. Where possible PLEASE try to use public transport, it’ll help to make your day run smoothly. Stall holders – A date for your diary! Stall holders – Applications open 1st of March! We welcome applications whether you’ve been at the festival before or if you’re brand new! With roughly around 25,000 people attending the festival, this is a perfect opportunity to get your stall set up in front of your local people! We will share information on how to apply for a stall when applications are open.
