Local Kirkstall resident Jessica Bailey (pictured) is taking on the daring feat of a sponsored zip-wire slide from the top of Headingley Stadium on the 12th of October in memory of her friend who passed away in June.
Jessica comments on her pledge: “I’m jumping down a zip wire at Headingley Carnegie Stadium for the Stroke Association in memory of a friend who tragically lost her life to a stroke in June aged just nineteen. She was lucky enough to have a very big and very loving group of friends who have come together and decided to do this fundraiser to help this amazing charity continue its work in supporting stroke victims.
