Calling all those interested in volunteering whilst also learning some creative and social marketing skills!

We have come across this local initiative which many of you may be interested in called The Creative Work Initiative (C.W.I.). It is a volunteer network that was set up to develop the creative and social media skills of the people of the Kirkstall Valley and surrounding areas. The network operates over three primary projects: eBooks Open (publishing), ‘Harmony’s Voice’ (Internet Radio) and ‘BardVille’ (Shakespeare Resource Centre). They are currently looking to recruit two Senior Volunteers for each section with a view to working towards anASDAN qualification. Each section of the network is aimed at developing project ideas that will assist the skills development of its Young Volunteers (16 – 25) working towards a vInspired qualification. The voluntary positions available with C.W.I. include Social Media Promotions, Research & Reporting, eBook software technology, Internet Radio programming and development, Shakespeare research and audio/drama productions.
