March 30th, 2013 | Posted by Jenny.Budd in History | Kirkstall Matters

As mentioned in KM112, amateur historian Mike Harwood has been researching Kirkstall’s stately home, Crooked Acres. The full article is actually the full historical work that Mike has put together. As it is large I will be publishing it online as it came to me, in three parts. You can read a synopsis below, these are cuttings from the Yorkshire Evening Post. Click on the images to be able to read them up close.

There may be more images to come but I have to wait to receive permission from Leodis where the images were sourced, so watch this space!
