I'm single and live in  Kirkstall, a suburb of Leeds.  Leeds is situated in West Yorkshire in the North of England.  

At the moment I work in IT. In my spare time I have been known to write poetry and take the occasional good photo. Some of these can be found on this site.

I'm particularly interested in other cultures and languages. I speak French but not fluently and can manage a few phrases in Mandarin. I certainly would like to learn more about oriental cultures.  I'd particularly like new friends of different ethnic backgrounds including Chinese.

Photo4 in my Photo Gallery, featured on the set of "North Square" the ten part television legal drama produced for Channel 4.  

Spring 2005 was a milestone for me as I visited China for the first time. My Chinese friends looked after me and I had a really good time. I revisited China in Spring 2006, Spring and Winter 2007 and Winter 2008. Thanks to those friends took care of me and gave me so much help and support, during my trips. I hope to revisit China again.
